YEAR 7 INDONESIAN 2013, HEATHMONT COLLEGE

CROSS COUNTRY INTERCULTURAL ASSIGNMENT
During term 1 of 2013, the year 7 Indonesian students of HC will be working collaboratively on an intercultural assignment with students from our Indonesian sister school, SMP1 Karangmojo. This is a 'Scavenger Hunt' assignment which is focused on introducing Indonesian language and culture to Heathmont College students new to Indonesian language learning. At the same time, their counterparts in Indonesia will be working on a set of questions based on the language and culture of Australia. This assignment is purposed to promote and enhance both school students' understanding and appreciation of each others' language and culture, and thence promote strong ties amongst students from both schools.
Students from both schools will be partnered one-on-one to work collaboratively on this project. Learning outcomes and tasks will be uploaded onto this wiki site for all students and teachers to view and assess.
